I absolutely love all Squatch products I buy, and love that they are staying true to keeping the worst chemicals out of their stuff.

However I struggled with docking a star or two off the rating because I was randomly reading some stuff on the bottle and came across the notes section where it said to only use the shampoo 2-3 times a week. I find that strange, and have more questions, like is that just a recommendation because shampooing your hair in general should only happen that often or is it something about this shampoo in particular that warrants that to be specified on the label, or…? I don’t necessarily shower daily, but definitely more than 2 or three times a week so we’re just expected to use a different shampoo product the other days? But more importantly I’ve found that note only on the bottle itself in a section that doesn’t really jump out at you (I didn’t find it in any text on the product on the site or anything) so I can only imagine most people won’t ever see it and just use it daily (which would then also definitely justify other’s reviews mentioning the quantity for the price not being worth it).

In the end I didn’t dock stars just because I wanted to rate the product quality itself, which I have no complaints about.
